Academy & Workshop

We believe true innovation emerges from the synergy of industry expertise, research, education and market application.

That’s why we have established strong and lasting collaborations between Italy’s leading universities specializing in the maritime sector and its strategic areas.

These partnerships are designed to bridge applied research with the practical challenges of the yachting industry and beyond—creating fertile ground where technological innovation meets sustainability, advanced measurement, and data intelligence.

Together with our academic partners and our Scientific Committee, we work to develop cutting-edge projects that enhance existing systems and sensors, and introduce intelligent, predictive control solutions.

We foster the digital transformation of the entire yacht lifecycle, paving the way for the first AI Assistance.

Beyond research and innovation, these collaborations also create tangible opportunities for students and young researchers through thesis projects, scholarships, PhD programs, internships, and placements.

With the University of Pisa — in particular, the Department of Engineering — several projects are currently being developed on Node Technology.

Our Workshops are structured sessions dedicated to shipyards, project managers, fleet managers, and other key stakeholders.

In either one of two day programs, or through intensive courses, participants discover new ways to unlock insights that drive innovation and enhance their services.
From R&D initiatives to customized activities, our workshops provide a clear perspective on how processes and solutions can be refined and optimized using real data.

As part of the SailADV Academy, the program also offers stand-alone courses, giving professionals the opportunity to explore the latest developments and practical applications of marine-grade Artificial Intelligence, while gaining the hands-on experience needed to directly translate innovation into practice.
